This blog post will show the first parts of my visual development for each fantasy prop I'm designing, including silhouettes, iterations and sketches. I will also be going through the stages of creating different colour palettes/variations, final iterations and a polished final concept art sheet (with orphographic views).

War Table

1. Firstly was the war table, in which I drew inspiration from a variety of different theming for my silhouettes (not necesarilly linking to my main one which is ice, as I will be implementing this in later stages). I played around with various creature features, like heads, tails, horns and wings. In addition to this, very natural theming such as earth, branches, roots, gems and rock.

After completing these silhouettes it was now time to choose which ones were my favourite so I could work from them. The features of these that I like the most are the creature like inspiration, like the last two on the first row, and the bird-like one on the last row.
