Time for my third study! I'm starting to feel a lot more comfortable with Maya now after the last two studies, even though the first was quite simplistic. The second was a much bigger challenge and I am amazed at how much I've learnt already. I now want to apply my skills into something a bit more complex, which is why I chose this building in Coslany Street. I took the photo myself while walking in Norwich, because I thought it had a very interesting aesthetic.

These images show my progress throughout the build! One of the best parts about this building is how I could easily duplicate one half and mirror it. This of course, made it a lot easier and quicker for me to complete.

It may look slightly confusing from these images, but the one furthest to the right is part of a window. This particular frame looked different from the other side. Even though it looked out of place, I still decided to include it since it was meant to be accurate to the original building.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the turn-out! It looks pretty acurate to the building and I would really love to texture it sometime. I really doubt it during this project because of the time pressure, but it would be great to turn this into a finished piece. If I were to improve it for future reference, I would probably try find ways to reduce the polycount to make it easier to texture.
