BA2 - (CS) Who is Kuang Hong?

The next talented concept artist whom I’m going to mention is Kuang Hong, who was born on the 3rd June 1980 and is a freelance artist based in Beijing, China. Even though he doesn’t have many credentials in terms of famous clients or companies, his work is absolutely beautiful.

There are many artists like him who are truly talented and skilled in their craft, yet it’s a matter of exposure that is needed. What really drew me into his work was the level of detail that can be seen within his digital paintings, as well as their traditional look. His environments are very aesthetically pleasing and I can really admire how much work must be put into every piece with so much detail.

I also especially love how well he contrasts light and dark colours, this can be seen very well on his frost giant piece. The blue stands out very well compared with the dark greys and blacks.
