BA2 - zSphere Iterations Part 1

To decide upon the forms I wanted my gargoyle to take when placed on the building it was attached to, I thought it would be good to iterate how her limbs would be stretched out. zSpheres made this process very swift, and enabled me to get a base form with ease.

The pose itself however, was rather difficult to portray with anatomically correct proportioning. Although I enjoy placing zSpheres, giving her an accurate limb structure took longer than I anticipated. This also required my to create hands which was rather challenging.

Perhaps one of the biggest challenges I have started to become more confident at, creating hands using zSpheres. Drawing hands traditionally and digitally isn’t my strong point and something I can definitely improve upon, however using zSpheres to make the basic shapes has opened my eyes to how the joints inside a hand are connected.
