Task 5
Brief:
'This task is part of a larger role in organising the exhibition and forms the first stage of investigation. I would like you to work in groups to design and visualise concepts for how best we can display your work. You will need to consider how the exhibition will represent each of the 73 exhibiting GAD students across the three specialisms; Concept Art, Asset Creation and Indie Development. How will you divide the space? Is there enough room to allocate a space for each student or is it best to group similar work? Perhaps by specialism, or maybe some other way. It is important to remember that the visitors will be from both the general public (your family and friends) and industry.'

Ideas for Displaying Work as a Group
Below was my first mock-up of how me and my group could display our work using the 950mm x 1200mm boards that are usually used for NUA's exhibitions (including placeholder business cards). The top and bottom images on my board are placeholder, in addition to all 3 pieces being placeholder on Nats example.
Johan
Because Johan will be displaying a playable environment, it was essential for him to have a monitor/TV set up which would be connected to a computer (underneath the table).
Myself and Nat
This seemed to be the easiest way to set up the pieces we would create, especially because we are both creating characters and environments. I think the row of characters is better than displaying them individually since we are both creating more than one.
Melissa
Melissa wanted an iPad alongside framed pieces, which is why I have added a table with an iPad placed on top (with a stand to keep it up and charger connected underneath to avoid the look of unnecessary cables). The iPad is tilted to the side because the creatures Melissa is creating are more suited to this than being portrait (as she is not designing humans).
